Jim Long (@newmediajim) interviewed Susan Reynolds the day before her mastectomy. In this short video clip, Susan talks about what the support from her friends on Twitter has meant to her and how she felt when she realized peas were going viral.
The purpose of Frozen Pea Friday is to remind people that giving as little as $5 – the cost of a couple of bags of frozen peas – can make a difference in funding breast cancer research. Click the flashing peavatar button at the top right of this page to donate. The money goes directly to the American Cancer Society.

Remind me that the next time I meet Jim for coffee I need to say:
Seriously – chatting with Jim was wonderful, as was sharing with him how deeply I feel about the people who have shown their support for this cause. I can never thank you enough.
a.) NO to first getting the pre-admission battery of testing at the hospital, and
b.) YES to a stop for pre-video hair and makeup

Susan – you are truly and inspiration. You didn’t need makeup or hairstyling or even Tim Gunn to make you beautiful… your beauty shows through in every word and your heart is speaking clearly here.
You so totally rock woman – and thanks to Jim for letting the rest of us in on how truly wonderful you are on the other side of the monitor!
1001 hugs – yndy
